New Computer Request Form

This form is to be used when requesting a new computer. Please expect that computer purchases can take more than 4 weeks to fulfill. This includes the time for ordering, delivery, configuration, and installation of a new machine.

We primarily order computers from Dell and Apple, since they are UW-approved vendors. There are some other approved vendors as well, so it's possible we can get a custom order from another vendor. We are discouraged from ordering from Amazon by the purchasing authorities so we are very unlikely to purchase a system from there. Note that all computer requests are subject to review and submission of this form does not guarantee purchase.
