Introducing the New Ticket Management System

SMPH’s IIT team at the Department of Psychiatry has been transitioned to a new HIPAA-compliant ticket management system, a type of access point that organizes and consolidates your requests. “(SMPH) Navigator,” as it is known, is the product, while the page you go to is a type of portal that connects you to various services, such as Cybersecurity, AV-related requests. Think of Navigator as a lobby that leads to specialized areas that are named accordingly. For example, IT help would be behind a door called User Support Services (USS), while another door leads to Cybersecurity-related tickets, etc.

Behind the USS “door” are four main categories of assistance, listed below. If you’re not sure to pick, select option 1. (More options may be added in the future)

  1. General IT Help
  2. Onboarding for new employees (staff, researchers, interns, residents, faculty, student help, etc.)
  3. Offboarding forms to remove access
  4. Service & resource accounts

Support Portal

Emailing support@psychiatry.wisc.edu remains an option, as emails become tickets. Responses can only be viewed in the Portal.
