What kind of sticker do I have?
There are two distinct types of stickers on laptops and desktop. Depending on what you see, you’ll contact the Help Desk (UW-Madison SMPH) or University Hospital Information Services (UH IS). See the description and examples below.
Black and white stickers that start with “PSY-“:
If the sticker on your device is black and white, then you’ll need contact the Psychiatry Help Desk. In the example below, the red arrows indicate the phone number and email addresses: 608-262-7622 or support@psychiatry.wisc.edu (from any email address). The blue arrows indicate the “PSY-Name,” which should be included when you submit a ticket in Navigator.
UH-themed stickers with bar codes:
On the other hand, the more colorful and much larger stickers (tags) can be found on UH-managed devices. In the example below “UWHealth” is circled and the phone number is indicated, which is (608) 265-7777, as shown below:
